I’m Tatyana Bashkatova, a Registered Psychotherapist at Insight Centre Counselling and Psychotherapy. I provide therapy in both English and Russian, and I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and identity-related stress.
My approach is integrative and experiential. I use evidence-based therapies including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Image Therapy (EIT), Gestalt Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. I tailor each session to meet you where you are, weaving together somatic awareness, emotional exploration, and cultural sensitivity to support your growth.

Depending on your needs, we may integrate experiential techniques from IFS to explore your internal system or use Emotion-Image Therapy to help process painful emotional imprints. You’ll set the pace, and I’ll walk beside you, offering steady guidance and evidence-based tools.
